With a score of 91.0 per cent, Feinsten secured the silver medal at the Danish Dressage Horse Championships for four-year-olds in Randbøl, Denmark. Under his rider Anne-Mette Strandby Hansen/DEN, the reserve champion of Westphalian licensing and stallion performance test second reserve winner received top marks: 9.5 for his trot and capacity, 9.2 for his canter, 9.0 for his rideability and 8.3 for his walk.
The first foals of Feinstem were impressive. They were all very noble with wonderfully elastic movements throughout their entire bodies.
Sire is the Grand Prix-successful elite stallion Franklin.
The dam, State Premium Mare Reykjavik, completed her mare performance test with a top score of 8.97 (rideability 10, trot and canter 9.5) and won riding horse tests. She also produced the Westphalian-licensed son of Extra Gold and Vita Fleur (by Vitalis)/Alvaro Almiñana Poquet/ESP, who was successful in St. Georges dressage.
The granddam State Premium Mare Finja placed ninth in the final ring at the Westphalian Elite Mare Show in 2002. She also produced the premium stallion KK Segantini (by Silbermond). Her daughters also became stallion dams.
The mare line also produced the premium stallion and Bundeschampion Sky (by Sezuan).
